Privacy Policy

One Up Partners Pty Ltd (ABN 31 700 542 169) is a Sydney-based recruitment business. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

Employers: your name, company, contact details and information about the role you are hiring for, such as the industry, position type, timing, location and salary guide.

Candidates: your name, email, mobile, optional LinkedIn profile, the sectors, roles and locations you are interested in, a rough salary band, availability, any note you add, and your CV if you choose to upload one. When you apply for an advertised role, we also record which role you applied for and how your application progresses.

We also record optional call bookings, privacy requests, and basic source and campaign information (such as the page you arrived on and advertising identifiers) to understand how enquiries reach us.

How we use it

We use information to respond to enquiries, arrange requested calls, assess candidates for suitable roles, manage applications for advertised vacancies, introduce candidates to employers and administer our recruitment services. Each enquiry or registration also generates an email notification to us so we can respond.

After a successful enquiry or registration, contact details may be securely transformed (hashed) and sent to Google Ads for conversion measurement. We do not sell your personal information.

Your consent and sharing with employers

Candidates are asked to agree to this policy when registering. We only share a candidate’s details or CV with a prospective employer after we have spoken with the candidate about the specific role and they have agreed. Client information is shared with candidates only where necessary to progress a search. Job listings on our website do not display any candidate information.

Storage and security

Enquiries, candidate profiles and applications are stored in secure, access-controlled systems. CVs are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible; they can only be opened by One Up Partners through a secure, signed-in administration area using short-lived download links. Uploaded files are limited to PDF, DOC and DOCX documents up to 10 MB and are checked to confirm they are genuine documents of those types.

Our website, database, file storage, email and analytics are supported by third-party service providers, who may store or process information in Australia or overseas. We only disclose what is reasonably necessary for those services or where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate and enquiry information for as long as it is reasonably needed for recruitment purposes or to meet legal obligations, and we review records that are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including any CV you have uploaded. Use the form below or email tyrone@oneuppartners.com.au. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
